Everyone knows that if your website has a high Google Pagerank, you have all chances to reach good search engine positions, to get serious partners, or simply get more money selling text links.
But how to get a high Pagerank? (Let's clarify: saying ‘high Pagerank', we mean at least PR6)
Of course there are many different ways. You may start exchanging links with PR1-2 websites, then with PR2-3, then with PR3-4 etc… and after a year of this madness you'll probably get a result. But...

The Internet presents an amazing opportunity for anyone who
knows how to research and write.
There's masses of free information on the Web - all you have to
do is gather it together and package it, and you have an E-Book
that people will pay for.
"But if there's so much free information on the Web, why would
anyone pay for my E-Book?", you may be wondering.
The answer? Convenience!
They'd rather buy your E-Book and save themselves the hours,
days and weeks that you spent researching it and p...

As the Web grows more crowded and just plain "noisy" with
information bombarding us from every angle, most people welcome
any tool, trick or shortcut to help them wade through the
mountains of data to find what they want.
Since your web browser represents your main window to the
Internet, it makes sense for any tool which enables you to find
what you need and get around faster online should sit right
where you need it most.
Introducing Web browser "toolbars," free little programs that
work wit...

wage war with Googlebot, Google's listing spider. Only this war

I was intrigued by the title of this book - writing an eBook in
7 days? But that's exactly what Jim Edwards and Joe Vitale show
you how to do.
However, your eBook doesn't have to be 100 pages. In fact, Joe
Vitale's best selling eBook 'Turbo Charge Your Writing' is only
22 pages (and 2 of those pages are order forms). And the authors
give the example of someone who wrote a book just 7 pages long
that sells for between $30 and $50. The fact is that people are
swamped with information. So the shor...

Google uses PageRank to rank your pages. To maximize your rank, you must understand how to work with it.
Page rank is defined as follows:
We assume page A has pages T1...Tn which point to it (i.e., are citations). The parameter d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1. We usually set d to 0.85. There are more details about d in the next section. Also C(A) is defined as the number of links going out of page A. The PageRank of a page A is given as follows:
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1...

The higher the PR of your site the higher will be its search engine position. So the goal is to get lots of sites linking to your site. But quality is much more important than quantity. The higher the PR of the sites that link to yours the more they boost your sites PR.
When planning your effort, always remember than one link from a PR-6 or PR-7 site is worth indefinitely more than hundreds of links from PR-0 or PR-1 sites.
In addition, you should aim to include your link on pages with as few...

It's amazing how long it took me to start my first ebook I
didn't think of myself as an author.
I knew that information was creating a fortune for others, but
who was I to think I could write a book?
I knew all the reasons to do it. The task just seemed so
daunting.
I started out writing and submitting articles. It didn't seem as
hard, although sometimes the words came slow.
The old story of use it or lose it is so true. Once I started
getting some positive feedback, I could feel a shift in ...

This is the second of eight articles about website design. Our
discussion will deal with some of the issues which need to be
considered when developing a new online presence. You may have
already thought of some of these, but perhaps there are probably
things which you haven't even considered.
In the last article, we gave some thought as to what the company
wants to do with its online presence. This ar...

Hi,
Check this site out, you won't believe what I dug up on it: The Rich
Jerk
I came across this website two days ago.
Now I must tell you, I was totally offended the first time I saw
this website.
The very first thing you read is "I'm better than you", then
"Don't waste my time... Lets get something straight. I am a
jerk. I am obnoxious. I am lazy. And I don't care, because I am
filthy RICH. I am much too important to even be sitting here
writing this right now. So I'll keep it short. I make se...
